While there are resources here for counseling practices, it is important to refer people to trained professionals for appropriate care.

 

The New York Conference Women's Ministries Department offers Abuse First-Responder Training to assist churches in learning how to be prepared to respond appropriately and helpfully when someone comes forward with allegations or has a history of abuse.
